Hot stuff? More like cold fritz. Quit talking to myself will you? No one is ever going to hear me!!!
You’ve got so many issues Carissa!!!!!
Hi, my name is Carissa Hubrechsen and I live and work in Adelaide, South Australia. I am currently teaching Visual Art, Photography and Information Technology at Heathfield High School. That’s my bread and butter. However, since graduating in 1989 from the South Australian School of Art and Design with a degree in Visual Arts, I have spent alot of time travelling, taking heaps of photographs around the world, and putting them into book format with text. I also spent a few years working for a printing company as a Desktop Publisher where I learnt alot about putting books together – which is as much fun as it is taking the pictures! During this time, after settling down a bit from so much travelling, I did a degree in Education, at the same time as having a beautiful daughter Madison – yes very busy times indeed.
I have been making art for 20 years or so now, and am currently enjoying making digital art, by taking digital photos, and manipulating them in Adobe Photoshop. I also like to write ‘meangingful stuff’ to enhance my images. I am hoping to publish some of my books soon.
I’ve always been inspired by great looking books and magazines with quality images, thought provoking statements/stories, and quality printing. Look out for my website!
